The ergonomically designed and easy-to-use STIHL HTA 30 cordless pole pruner allows ambitious home users to work efficiently and comfortably when maintaining yards, gardens, and trees. Thanks to the tool-free adjustable telescopic shaft with robust guidance and the automatic chain tensioning system with an integrated spring mechanism, the HTA 30 provides effective support when pruning tall branches, as well as for hedge maintenance and removing dead wood.

The chain tension can be adjusted quickly and easily with minimal interruption, simply by opening and closing the sprocket cover. The integrated tensioning lever in the branch hook sets the correct chain tension and enables quick, tool-free reassembly of the cutting attachment after cleaning or replacing the chain. The tensioning lever and all other controls can be easily operated even while wearing work gloves.

The electric motor is low-vibration and very quiet, allowing operation without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas. The very compact and slim cutting head ensures excellent visibility of the guide bar and high maneuverability in confined spaces within tree canopies. The HTA 30 is equipped with a STIHL 1/4" PM3 chain and a STIHL Light 01 guide bar, ensuring clean cuts and fast cutting progress, allowing branches up to 17 cm in diameter to be cut with ease.

Operation is simple via the control handle with soft-grip elements and ergonomic unlocking. The shaft also features a rubberized grip area, allowing it to be held quickly and flexibly along its length depending on the working height. Thanks to the ambidextrous unlocking system, ergonomic handle design, and low weight of 3.6 kg, working with the HTA 30 is highly flexible, efficient, and effortless.

The HTA 30 also includes a durable base integrated into the housing to protect the tool from dirt and moisture, a suspension point for an optional shoulder strap, and a carrying ring for practical wall storage.

The telescopic shaft can be continuously adjusted from 190 cm to 280 cm. When fully extended, the HTA 30 is suitable for working at heights of up to 4.5 m, while its compact form makes transport easier. With up to 140 cuts and 28 minutes of runtime per full charge of the AS 2 battery (measured in spruce wood 5 × 5 cm), it provides sufficient power for most maintenance tasks.

AUTOMATIC CHAIN TENSIONING

QUICK AND CONVENIENT RE-TENSIONING. The chain tension can be adjusted quickly, easily, and without tools via a spring-assisted mechanism. By briefly opening and closing the sprocket cover using the sliding handle, the chain is automatically set to the correct tension. Optimal chain tension not only improves cutting performance and safety but also extends chain life by reducing wear.

TOOL-FREE SPROCKET COVER

EFFICIENT MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING.The sprocket cover can be easily unscrewed and removed without additional tools and even while wearing work gloves. This allows you to quickly and efficiently remove sawdust or debris when needed, while maintenance or replacement of the cutting attachment can be completed in minimal time.

TRANSPARENT OIL TANK

EASY LEVEL CHECKING. The transparent oil tank allows you to quickly and easily check the chain oil level. This ensures you always know when to refill, so you can work efficiently at all times.

COMFORT HANDLE

ENSURES A SECURE GRIP. Thanks to its design, the comfort handle with a rubberized grip area ensures that the tool is held firmly and securely in your hands.

EXCELLENT MACHINE BALANCE

REDUCES FATIGUE DURING WORK. Thanks to the ideal center of gravity of the battery, the machine tilts very little, allowing for more relaxed and less tiring operation.
