The STIHL FSA 50 can also be quickly and tool-free converted from a brushcutter into a lawn edge trimmer. Another advantage is the foldable, flexible spacer guard, which supports gentle and precise cutting around trees, shrubs, and objects, ensuring an almost flawless result.

The variable speed control of the electric motor allows continuous adjustment of the speed depending on the application, reducing energy consumption and extending battery life. The STIHL FSA 50 comes standard with the STIHL AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. The line length is automatically adjusted with a simple tap on the ground, while replacement is quick and easy from the outside using STIHL lines, without opening the head. An optional accessory is the STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with plastic blades, also featuring tool-free replacement. Thanks to the practical hanging loop, the STIHL FSA 50 can be mounted on the wall, saving storage space.
